Quick Trip to Maine

We went to Maine for a long weekend and had a wonderful time!! Lots of good seafood, warm weather, cool ocean breezes, walk on the Marginal Way, Trolley Rides, Lobster boat and of course the trek to LL Bean :) Also got to meet the nice folks in the meeting in Gray, ME. It was a bit unseasonably warm - but no rain and mostly sunny skies.

It was worth the wait - yep I ate both :) One for me, one for baby :)

Perkins Cove at Dusk

Unfortunately, this weekend a very special worker died - so we'll be at the services at the convention grounds for that today. "And we have their simple message, though they've entered into rest - God's own patient, loyal bearers of the cross..."

End of Summer

It's hard to believe conventions have come and gone already, but they were wonderful as always. We've had probably some of the nicest weather these last few weeks - love the cool breeze! As some of you already know we're expecting - and our second ultrasound confirmed we're having a girl! We're both pretty excited, of course :) We were out to Freedom and then back to Altamont for convention - so good to see everyone again. Mike started right in Monday in our kitchen - removing old tile, and he's putting up 'beadboard' now around the bottom half. We got measured for new countertops and sink so the kitchen will get a little sprucing up.

Summer time...and the livin' is easy...

Summer is passing by so quickly - but it has been a fun filled one! We're looking forward to conventions starting next week. To begin the summer, we went on a cruise to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick with the family.
